Wrote my first book " voice they don't here"
I wrote a book called Voices They Don’t Hear about social issues such as child marriage, discrimination, and colourism. I wanted to write this book because many people experience these problems but do not speak up about them or share their struggles. Through my book, I wanted to give a voice to those people and help others understand their experiences.
First, I approached different people and listened to their stories and experiences. Some people were hesitant to share their stories, while many others supported and encouraged me. Some had personally experienced these situations, while others had faced similar challenges or wanted to share their thoughts. Listening to their stories made me feel proud that they trusted me enough to share their experiences. I collected their stories and wrote them in my book, Voices They Don’t Hear. Finally, I typed the handwritten content on a laptop and converted it into a digital book
Through this experience, I learned that many people are supportive when you work towards something meaningful, although some may not support you. I learned the courage to approach strangers, talk to them, and ask them to share their stories. It helped me build my confidence and improve my communication skills. Most importantly, I learned that when you make others feel comfortable and respected, they are more likely to trust you and share what you need to understand their experiences.
